This Privacy Policy applies to Pipe Bloom (PipeBloom) (the “App”), a color-connecting puzzle game published by Inque Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It describes what information is stored locally, what third-party advertising services may process, and your choices. You can play core puzzles without creating an account.
1. Overview
Pipe Bloom lets players connect matching colored endpoints to fill each grid. Our game saves progress on your device. We do not operate a Pipe Bloom player-account service or a developer-hosted database for individual puzzle progress.
The free game includes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). When internet access is available, Google and its advertising partners may process information for advertising, consent management, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. This is separate from game progress stored locally.
2. Information and local storage
Game information stored on your device
Pipe Bloom uses MMKV local storage inside the application sandbox. Information saved may include:
- Unlocked levels, puzzle-pack completion, stars, and level progress;
- Hint or tip balances, earned in-game rewards, and recent play information;
- Game preferences such as sound, music, vibration, and other settings;
- Local advertising preference settings where available.
We do not require you to submit your name, email address, phone number, password, or payment details to play. The core puzzles do not request precise GPS location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access.
Information processed by the ad SDK
Google Mobile Ads and applicable advertising partners may automatically process IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), advertising identifiers and other permitted device identifiers, device model and operating-system details, language/region, network information, app and ad interactions (including ad impressions, clicks and completed rewarded views), and performance or diagnostic information.
What information is used depends on your region, device configuration, applicable law, consent selections, and Google’s service settings. Google and partners, not Pipe Bloom’s local game-storage system, handle this advertising information.
3. How information is used
- To restore your game progress, track unlocked puzzles and stars, and remember preferences on your device;
- To present banner advertisements and, at suitable game breaks, interstitial advertisements;
- To allow you to choose optional rewarded ads to receive game hints or tips;
- To obtain or manage advertising consent where applicable through Google User Messaging Platform (UMP);
- To support advertising delivery, measurement, debugging, fraud prevention, and security through the advertising providers.
4. Third-party services and advertising
The App uses Google AdMob (Google LLC) for banner, interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements. It also integrates Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent information and privacy choices where required. These services may use their own technologies, vendors, and data-retention practices.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, sharing identifiers or interactions with advertising providers may be treated as “sharing” for targeted advertising under certain privacy laws.
Website analytics: This game website shares hosting with Inque Labs. If Google Analytics is enabled on that service, visits to this website may also involve processing of page views, approximate location derived from network information, device/browser details, and click events by Google Analytics. You can manage browser tracking preferences and consult Google’s privacy resources linked above.
5. Advertising consent and privacy choices
Pipe Bloom integrates UMP so that, where required and configured, an applicable consent notice or privacy options form can be displayed. Availability and content of such forms depend on region, Google’s determination of requirements, and the messages configured by the publisher in AdMob. The presence of UMP does not mean every player will see a form.
To review available options, open Pipe Bloom → Settings → Privacy & Consent → Ad Consent Choices. Where Google makes a privacy options form available, this control lets you manage your selections. You can also adjust advertising identifier and ad-preference settings on your device or through Google’s controls.
Where applicable, you may withdraw consent or object to certain processing. Depending on the processing and your location, non-personalized advertising or limited data processing may still use information for security, fraud prevention and necessary ad operations.
6. Device permissions
The Android App declares the following permissions for its features and advertising services:
| Android permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Retrieve advertisements and consent messages. |
VIBRATE | Optional tactile feedback during play. |
AD_ID | Permit eligible advertising services to access the Android advertising identifier, subject to platform rules and user choices. |
The app does not request your precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo-library permissions for core gameplay.
7. Children’s privacy
Pipe Bloom is designed as a general-audience logic puzzle game. It does not require accounts and we do not knowingly ask children to submit personal contact information. Third-party ad providers may have additional policies and restrictions relating to children, age, region and applicable laws.
Parents or guardians with concerns about information relating to a child may contact us using the address below. Any specific Google Play Families obligations depend on the target audience and advertising implementation configured for the release.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain personal-data processing; withdraw consent; request portability; or contact an applicable privacy regulator. Contact us regarding information within our control.
For advertising information held by Google or other partners, their own privacy settings, notices and support channels may also apply. Device advertising controls and UMP privacy options (where available) can provide additional controls.
9. Retention and deletion
On-device progress: Saved puzzle progress, puzzle packs, stars, preferences and hint balances are retained within the app’s local storage. Clearing Pipe Bloom’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app generally removes this locally stored information. The Android app manifest has allowBackup="false"; operating-system behavior may vary by device.
Advertising information: Google and its partners determine how long information processed through their services is retained and how it can be deleted. We cannot directly delete records stored solely on their systems. Please consult their privacy policies and advertising controls for available deletion and access options.
10. Security
Game progress is stored within the app’s operating-system sandbox rather than our own player-account server. The privacy website uses HTTPS, and the advertising SDK’s data transfers are subject to the provider’s security measures. Your device security settings also affect local-data protection. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when the app, its third-party services or legal requirements change. Any revision will appear here with an updated “Last updated” date. Please review this page periodically.
